RoamAI is a hosted workspace for Claude Code. Your sessions run on a server that stays on, using your own Claude subscription, and you connect to them from the desktop app. Close the laptop or switch computers, and the session is where you left it.

Whose machine is the code on?

Yours. The hosted server holds the session. The files it reads and writes are on the computer running the app, or on a Linux server you connected.

Is there a free plan?

No, and there is no free trial. Signing up is free. Opening a workspace needs a subscription: $9 / month, billed monthly in advance and non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep the rest of the current period.

If I close my laptop, does the session die?

No. The session and its context stay on the server. While your computer is asleep the session pauses and waits; it does not keep editing on its own. Open the laptop and it continues from where it stopped. When a session finishes or needs an answer, you get a push notification.

Do I need my own Claude subscription?

Yes. You authorize it once, and every session runs on your own account and usage. If you do not have an account or subscription yet, write to support@roamai.cloud or add us on WeCom.

My company does not allow code to leave the network. What then?

Two options. Connect your own server, and sessions run on that machine. Or deploy the whole product inside your data center or VPC, where nothing passes through us. Write to support@roamai.cloud or add us on WeCom.

Open a workspace
Sign in and click once. You get a hosted machine that stays on. There is no instance size to choose.

Connect your Claude subscription
Authorize once in your browser. From then on, every session runs on your own Claude account and counts against your own usage.

Connect from your Mac
Install the macOS app and sign in with the same account. Sessions stay on the server, so you can leave and come back. Phone apps are in development and will use the same account.

What the app does

Board
Sessions are grouped into Waiting on you, Just finished, and Running. The first group is always at the top.
Turn by turn
Each turn shows the lines that changed. Approval requests appear as buttons. The raw terminal output is one tap away.
Voice input
Dictate a prompt and it appears in the input box as text. You can edit it before sending.
Your own machines
If you already have a Linux server, or the work has to stay on your network, one command connects it. It appears in the same list as the hosted workspace.
Sessions do not drop
Sessions live on the server, not in the client. Losing the network, switching devices or quitting the app does not end them. You get a push notification when a session finishes or needs an answer.
Emergency stop
One switch turns off every automatic reply at once.

Who controls what

We run the machine.
You keep the account.

We operate the hosted machine, the network route and the login. You decide which Claude account it uses, what it works on, and when it stops.

Your own Claude subscription
Authorize once. Every session runs on your own account, and usage is billed by Anthropic to you. We do not resell model quota.
Fixed egress
Sessions reach Claude through one fixed egress route, whatever network you are on.
Reset anytime
Reset the workspace to a clean environment in under a minute. Nothing to back up first, nothing to clean up after.
Risky actions ask first
Deleting files, committing, and installing packages need your approval. If a session goes wrong, one switch stops every automatic reply.
